Jack Frederick is an actor and filmmaker based in New York. |
As an actor, Jack has been featured in the New York Times, Wall St. Journal, and Time Out New York. He has performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and on networks like HBO, TruTV, and NBC. An award-winning writer and director, Jack combines his background in comedy, Meisner technique, experimental theater, movement and improvisation to create hilarious, heartbreaking devised works. His plays and interactive exhibits have appeared in theaters, dusty grist mills, muddy fields, wonderfully hospitable conference centers, and cold dingy bars across the America. As a video editor, his narrative work has been featured by Vulture's This Week In Web Videos, Funny Or Die's Best of The Web, CollegeHumor, People.com, and Cracked. His commercial work for political, human rights, health and educational organizations has aired nationwide. Jack is also a hobbyist drummer and musician who's songs have been featured on MTV and several small films. He is also the proud father of two beautiful cats Arthur and Benny who are completely unimpressed by his accomplishments and the proud husband to his long time co-producer and collaborator Melissa Aquiles, who just so happens to be the most talented actor in the world.
